About me
Hello!
I am currently a 4th year undergraduate at the University of California, Riverside. Throughout the pandemic, I became interested in ecology as I spent a lot of my time going on hikes with my mom and my dog, Lisa. My first hands-on experience with ecology was a field experience through the ESA SEEDS Chapter at my university, which my friends and myself helped revive while we were virtual. It was through SEEDS I was introduced to my current lab with Dr. Nicole Rafferty and began my research in her lab, investigating moth diversity and size distributions along the Boyd Deep Canyon elevational gradient. I've continued to be involved in the collaborative research with SEEDS and have learned so many amazing skills and ecological principles through my time there. |
I am also working in Dr. Marko Spasojevic's lab, helping to survey the seedling plots established in the San Jacinto Mountains.
When I'm not at school or working in the lab, I like to hang out with my dogs (Lisa and Buster), catch up with friends, and be creative (knitting, crocheting, painting, you name it!). |
